Enrollment Checklist

• A course offering list for Spring 2010 is available in MaineStreet.
  
  
• Make sure you have access to MaineStreet. Your MaineStreet userid and password are not the same as your DSIS userid and PIN. If you have difficulty accessing MaineStreet, please go to www.mail.maine.edu and reset your password before you call The Help Desk for assistance. More information is available here.
  
  
• Check enrollment (registration) dates.
  
  
• Obtain Enrollment (registration) PIN Number before enrolling, except for Graduate School and Business Majors. For enrollment locations see Buildings and Rooms for Enrollment listing. Note: Non-degree undergraduate students do not need a PIN to enroll.
  
  
• Check for enrollment (registration) holds.
  
  
• Enroll
  • Select your courses ahead of time using the "Wish List " feature in Student Self Service. Courses that require instructor or special permission need to be added in the department of the course.
    
    
  • This semester we're introducing the Wait List function in MaineStreet. There is a small selection of high demand courses that will allow students to add themselves to a Wait List. Although each student on a wait list is assigned a position number, that number does not necessarily represent the order in which students may be enrolled should openings in the class occur. Please see details pertaining to Wait Lists in the Undergraduate Catalog using THIS LINK.
    
    
  • Enrollment can be done using MaineStreet during your scheduled appointment times.
    
    
  • You may enroll in person at your department or dean's office.
