Records – Degree Progress Report (Degree Audit)

Degree progress reports are now available in MaineStreet.

The degree progress report is intended for undergraduate advising purposes only and is NOT the final or official determination for completing degree or program requirements.  Only a College and/or Department can make the final official determination.

Currently, the degree progress report evaluates General Education Requirements for all undergraduate degree-seeking students who matriculated at the University of Maine beginning with the Fall 2008 semester.  The degree progress report can be used for students who entered UMaine prior to Fall 2008, but with varying levels of accuracy.

The degree progress report also evaluates academic plans offered by the College of Business, Public Policy, & Health (BPPH), the College of Education & Human Development (EDHD), and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (LAS).  This includes majors, double majors, concentrations, and minors.

Effective Fall 2010, the Economics (B.A.) major, Financial Economics major, and Economics minor moved to the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, & Agriculture (NSFA).  Effective Fall 2011, the Communication Sciences & Disorders major, Social Work major, and Communication Sciences & Disorders minor moved to the College of NSFA.  These six academic plans, as well as the Disability Studies minor, Innovation Engineering minor, Maine Studies minor, Peace & Reconciliation Studies minor, and the Honors Program are also available for evaluation in a degree progress report.

All students should consult their academic advisor or Dean’s Office for degree progress verification.  If you experience difficulty generating the degree progress report, please call 581-1317 or email umrecord@maine.edu.
